10 Tips for Staying Healthy
1. Schedule a yearly gynecological check-up
2. Find a Primary Care Physician
3. Drink 8 glasses of water daily
4. Limit saturated and trans fats in your diet, limit cholesterol: Read that label!
5. Eat at least 5 to 7 cups of fruits and veggies every day
6. Cut down on salt (sodium)

11 Tips for Increasing Physical Activity
1. Accumulate 30 minutes of walking on five or more days of the week (three 10-minute, two 15-minute or one 30-minute walk)
2. Plan active weekends (long walks, hiking, walking tours)
3. Take the stairs instead of the elevator
4. Park at the far end of the parking lot
5. Walk a few blocks before getting on the bus
6. Get off the bus a few blocks before your stop
7. Get up from your desk throughout the day to stretch and walk
8. Take a 10-minute walk before lunch
9. Walk your dog
10. Stay strong: Lift weights to build and maintain fat burning muscle
11. Walk instead of driving your car short distances
12. Stretch every day
